Opinion polls reveal that most people in Wales want to see more devolution, ten years on since the Welsh Assembly was set up and power was devolved from Westminster to Cardiff.

Cultural historian Peter Stead, founder of the Halen Môn salt company David Lee Wilson, Professor of governance at University of Liverpool Laura McAllister, examined how devolution had affected Wales.

Mr Stead told Today programme presenter Sarah Montague that devolution "has restored confidence in Wales". He added, "culturally speaking we are a nation now. We have our own debate, we have our own priorities, and we have our own standards."

David Lee Wilson outlined how business now have "more opportunities" under devolution.

On the future of devolution, Prof McAllister added that Wales "needed simpler model of devolution".

Wales "is still experiencing the growing pains of its new institution and democracy," she added.
