There is only one option for stable government, and that is a Liberal Democrat - Conservative coalition, shadow chancellor George Osborne has said.

Speaking on the Today programme, Mr Osborne said that the deal should be made in the interests of the country, but that it was now for the Lib Dems alone to make their decision.
