A report into the Bloody Sunday shootings in Northern Ireland is to be published after the longest public inquiry in UK legal history.

James Naughtie talks to Tony Doherty. His father was killed on Bloody Sunday when he was nine years old, and as a consequence he later joined the IRA.

Mr Doherty reflects on the day he was told about his father's death, and how the event changed his family's political beliefs.
