Audio slideshow: Shakespeare's gardens

A theatrical flourish welcomes visitors to this year's Hampton Court Palace Flower Show - as the Royal Horticultural Society celebrates the life and work of the famous bard.

Six unique gardens have been commissioned, each one inspired by a Shakespearean comedy. There is also a Tudor allotment filled with the varieties of fruits and vegetables eaten 450 years ago.

Take a tour with the RHS Show Manager, Mandy Almond - and allotment creator Barry Locke, the head gardener at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in Stratford Upon Avon.
