Ancient flint tools have been found in Norfolk that suggest our ancestors first moved to Britain much earlier than was previously thought, according to new research published in the journal Nature

The settlement found in Happisburgh is thought to be 800,000 years old, 100,000 years earlier than discoveries had suggested man had even arrived here.
