Eating for two 'is a myth'

The myth that pregnant mothers need to eat for two should be "knocked on the head", the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (Nice) has said.

Speaking to Today presenter John Humphrys, Nice public health director Professor Mike Kelly said that the only extra nutrition a pregnant mother needed was "two pieces of toast and a milky drink" in the last three months of pregnancy.
