All week the Today programme has been investigating what fairness means in British society.

To mark the end of the series, John Humphrys spoke to a focus group of people from a variety of backgrounds to find out what fairness meant to them.

During the series John Humphrys investigated immigrants' ideas of fairness, Nick Robinson looked into the politics of fairness, Mark Easton analysed fairness and gender, and Paddy O'Connell reported on fairness across the generations.
