The pipe organ is an intimidating instrument much loved by Today's guest editor Richard Ingrams.

It may come as a surprise but the hard nosed journalist and editor can be found playing the organ at his local church on Sundays and at weddings.

He went to try his hand on the organ constructed for the 1951 Festival of Britain at the Royal Festival Hall.
