Two years after a student video posted on the internet exposed continuing racism at one of South Africa's oldest universities, the institution is being turned around.
Archbishop Desmond Tutu has just been awarded an honorary degree from the University of the Free State, long seen as a bastion of Afrikaner nationalism. And it's first black vice chancellor Prof Jonathan Jansen, who said that the university as an institution should share some of the blame, is introducing radical reforms.
