The Iraq Inquiry, which began hearing evidence in November 2009, has finally finished holding public hearings.
The committee members may see a few more witnesses in private, but that is the end of the theatre. Its chairman, Sir John Chilcot, has said it may take some months to complete their report.
The BBC's Peter Hunt, who has been at many of the public sessions, now looks back on what we have learnt and what conclusions the Chilcot panel may reach.
