The Royal Opera House is staging two short productions to attract a new audience to the world of opera.

Stewart Copeland, who was the drummer with The Police has written an opera about Edgar Allan Poe's short story The Tell-Tale Heart while Terry Jones, of Monty Python fame, has something a little more absurd.
