China has spent nearly £250m completing the world's largest museum ever housed under one roof, as a showpiece in Beijing, yet there is little or no reference to controversial parts of the country's own history.

The BBC's Martin Patience reports on the museum's opening ceremony, meant to "explore the glorious path" of China.
