The former director of children's services at Haringey Council, Sharon Shoesmith, has said she is still angry about the way she lost her job in 2008, after the death of Baby Peter.
The Court of Appeal ruled yesterday that her dismissal was unlawful and she has accused the former children's secretary Ed Balls of acting "irresponsibility" in sacking her. Mr Balls has defended his actions, and the government is to appeal.
Ms Shoesmith told Today presenter John Humphrys that she would be "absolutely delighted" to return to her old job. And she added that the Ofsted report into her department, which lead to her removal, was wrong.
When asked how much of the blame she attached to herself for the 17 month-old's death, she said: "I am not into the blame game. I don't do blame."
During the interview Ms Shoesmith insisted "this is much more complex than saying 'You are responsible, lets sack you.'"
And she refused to give any further details on the amount of compensation she is seeking or is expecting after she won her appeal.
