In the last few days, scientists have discovered a ribbon of gas and dust more than 600 light years across and a new moon orbiting the planet Pluto.

The University of Cardiff's Professor Matt Griffin, principle investigator for the Spire instrument on board Herschel, describes the dense cloud and gas which will "tell us about the gravity in the galaxy".
