The Norwegian police have said that there are 84 confirmed deaths in the Norwegian gun attack, with seven confirmed dead in an earlier bomb blast in Oslo bomb.

Youth leader Lisa Marie Husby described the terrifying moment the gunman launched the attack at a youth camp on the island of Utoeya.

"Suddenly we heard gunshots and we didn't know what was happening," she told Evan Davis.

"The man with the gun was running behind us, chasing us."

Finding shelter in a cabin in the woods, she hid under a bed for three hours until the police arrived.
