Law firms can now be operated by supermarkets or banks whereas in the past they could only be owned by lawyers.

Jonathan Gulliford, sales director for Co-operative Legal Services says they plan to be one of the first groups to take advantage of the new rules and honorary secretary of the solicitors Sole Practitioners Group Clive Sutton gives his thoughts on the change.
