European commissioner and Greek politician Maria Damanaki has said that there is still a danger that Greece will be forced out of the euro.

The agreement to form a coalition government had "opened a small window" she told John Humphrys, but she could not "be sure about the final result".

"Staying in the euro has a cost, has a price," he said. "We have to abandon… the easy life."
