The winners of the Wicked Young Writers Award, which awards creative writing for five to 25-year-olds, will be announced later.

Samantha Nead, is a finalist in the 11 to 13-year-old category and one of the judges, the former children's laureate Michael Morpurgo, author of War Horse, casts an eye over this year's entries.
