A study by the think tank Centre for Cities says that the gap between the economic performance of cities across the UK is widening.

The Today programme's Sanchia Berg reports Milton Keynes, which is once again listed as one of the top five cities well placed for the year ahead, and Newport in South Wales which the centre considers one of the five most vulnerable.
