The northern Nigerian city of Kano has been under curfew again overnight.

It follows the attacks by Islamist militants on police stations on Friday which are believed to have killed at least 150 people.

The Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan, visited the city over the weekend and spoke to the international media for the first time about Friday's widespread bombings by the militant Islamist group known as Boko Harram.
