Premier League Football clubs are to sign the government's Sports Charter to tackle homophobia and transphobia in sport.

All the clubs signing will commit to challenge discrimination and work to rid football of homophobic and transphobic abuse both in the stands and on the field.

There are currently no 'out' professional footballers and just one rugby player and one cricketer.
