The Conservative Home website, seen as the voice of the Conservative Party grassroots, has published an editorial calling for the government's controversial Health and Social Care Bill to be dropped altogether.

Conservative Home was urged to make the call by three Conservative cabinet members who believe David Cameron is not listening on the issue. The editor of the website, Tim Montgomerie, explains why some Conservatives are expressing doubts.
