The British Medical Association (BMA) is calling for a renewed debate on organ donation saying that while donations have increased in recent years, they still lag a long way behind the number of people waiting for a transplant.

Dr Tony Calland, chairman of the BMA's Medical Ethics Committee, outlines their concerns.
