A new study shows the UK appears to be leading the world in the commercial use of the internet.

Report author Paul Zwillenberg, of the Boston Consulting Group, told the Today programme's Sarah Montague that nearly a tenth of the economy in the UK is now online.

He said that this was down to the UKs "great broadband infrastructure" and that British business has taken to the internet and is exporting around the world, "leading the world in e-commerce".

We should be investing to grow in the economy's "bright spot" but 10% of the population is still not online.
