Why are there not more women in science?

Professor Lesley Yellowlees, the Royal Society of Chemistry's president-elect, says she believes Great Britain is half a century behind the United States when it comes to opportunities for women in science.

We need to be "tapping all the resources we've got" to have more women in science, she says.
