A campaign is being launched calling on Home Secretary Theresa May to change the law criminalising "insulting behaviour".

Gay rights campaigner Peter Tatchell, who is part of the campaign, says that what constitutes an insult is a "very subjective judgement".

"We should have the right to speak our minds... putting up with insults is the price we pay to put up with to live in a free society", he told the Today programme.
