In an interview with the Guardian today, head of the IMF Christine Lagarde says Greeks should help themselves by "all paying their tax".

Christopher Pissarides, professor of economics at the LSE, says "you have to find fundamental cause before you cure all the symptoms" of the Greek debt crisis.

One of these symptoms, he explains, is tax evasion and "the fundamental cause of this is political corruption".
