The iconic Raleigh Chopper bike, first put into production in 1970, is being fondly remembered after the death at the age of 85 of its designer Alan Oakley, whose funeral takes place today.

Ladd, a Chopper enthusiast since getting his first one at the age of 12 told the Today programme's Tom Bateman that it is "a very comfortable bike to ride," but "just has that terrible wobbly factor".
