The leader of the Greek left-wing party Syriza has unveiled his party's economic platform, in which he promised to scrap Greece's austerity agreement. Greece holds its second general election in six weeks on June 17, after the centre-right New Democracy party won the 6 May poll but without enough votes to form a government, and coalition talks collapsed.

Syriza's European spokesman, Yiannis Bournous, explains that a "radical change of political atmosphere" is isolating the policies of super austerity.
