A woman has been camping out at her favourite roundabout to save it from being removed to accommodate a new supermarket.

Kevin Beresford, of the UK Roundabout Appreciation Society, believes that "on any road system anywhere in the world there's nothing more expressive than a roundabout".

He told the Today programme that the magic roundabout in Swindon is "the white-knuckle ride of all roundabouts... our society go for day trips there".
