The secretary of state for international development has said that "not enough is being done to tackle malnutrition".

On Sunday, the last day of the Olympics, the prime minister will host a brief summit on the topic of malnutrition with several world leaders.

Speaking to the Today programme, Andrew Mitchell said the summit is an important moment to "galvanise public support" in tackling malnutrition.

He told Evan Davis there is a real chance for Britain and the next hosts of the Olympic Games, Brazil, to "put a real flag in the sand" about the importance of tackling malnutrition.
