Tower Hamlets Council in London will make a decision on Wednesday about the future of a Henry Moore sculpture.

The creator of the Olympic opening ceremony Danny Boyle has joined the artist's daughter Mary Moore and the Tate Director Nicholas Serota in an attempt to stop the sale of the sculpture called Draped Seated Woman.

The authority is looking at the possibility of selling it to ease local budget cuts.

Shahed Ali, cabinet member for the environment at Tower Hamlets council, told Today presenter Justin Webb that "we have to very careful about where we locate it" and emphasised that getting selling the sculpture would be financially beneficial.

Richard Calvocoressi, director of the Henry Moore Foundation, added that "this work is part of London's history" and it should be reinstated back in London.
