There are 2,600 miles of public rights of way in Oxfordshire

A plan to increase opportunities for people to enjoy the Oxfordshire countryside has won a national award.
The government agency, Natural England, praised the county's ideas to improve access to the countryside for walkers, cyclists and horse-riders.
The county Council was deemedto have the "most enterprising and innovative" rights of way improvement plan.
Councillor Roger Belson said: "Well done to our Countryside Service. They deserve this national recognition."
The aim of the plan is to protect and maintain Rights of Way and link them together so they are accessible to more people and to the public transport network.
