For 10 years I was a politician in Latvia, so it is very strange now to jump to the biggest parliament I know. It is so big, I don't know how many kilometres I've done today.

My speciality is human rights. It is the first time that Latvia's Russian minority has had direct EU representation. The government doesn't care about problems of minorities.
