Ralph Baden Davenport Powell, a distant cousin of scout movement founder Lord Baden-Powell, worked as a broadcaster for the Nazis during the war, according to official records.

In a statement given to an MI5 investigator, Powell said he was blackmailed into taking the work by threats of reprisals against his German wife's family.
