Anthony and Georgina Pepperrell, and their daughter Janette Izadkhast, have made the trip from Torquay to Calais.

"We like the trip because it gives us a break, but it's expensive," says Mrs Pepperrell.

She adds: "I can see a lot of people wanting to use the internet instead."
