It took us nine days to get to this camp. On the fourth day Safia [my two-year-old daughter] got sick. She and I were the last two to leave the town - my other children had run on ahead as soon as they heard the planes. I didn't know where I was running to but I just kept running.

Safia later died at the Sam Ouanja camp.
