"Millionaire can be compared to the Gandhi film. What it did for India back then is exactly what Slumdog is doing for India right now. The co-incidence being that it's another Brit who's at the helm (Danny Boyle for Slumdog and Richard Attenborough for Gandhi) goes the same for the Oscar scenario too. Sometimes it takes an outsider to show reality."
