City minister Paul Myners has called on the former boss of the Royal Bank of Scotland to consider doing some charity work to rebuild his reputation, after the controversy over his pension.
In an interview with the BBC's Robert Peston Mr Myners also said that a Treasury commissioned review of the governance of banks had yet to come up with radical enough recommendations.
