The import and export ban comes into force on Saturday

The import and export of "legal highs" will be banned in Guernsey from Saturday. The trade in legal highs for commercial use was banned in April, but the transport of items for personal use only was allowed. The legislation will be extended to include any importation or exportation. It has been claimed that this year £400,000 has been spent treating users for depression, paranoia and other psychological conditions.
