The library could be a victim of States plans to save money

A public meeting is being organised for Jersey residents concerned that Les Quennevais library could close.
It was announced last week the service could be a casualty of States plans to save money.
St Brelade Deputy Peter Troy said people had contacted him protesting about the move.
He said it was a valuable service that was important to his parishioners and there was concern its loss would deprive youngsters of access to books.
"I think many members of St Brelade, and even perhaps St Peters and St Ouen, who use the library will come forward to show they are very concerned about the issue," he said.
