The Shopmobility scheme opened in March

A scheme which helps people with disabilities in Jersey move around St Helier more easily has had to buy more equipment to meet the demand.
People can hire out scooters and wheelchairs and walkers from Shopmobility, which is based in Sand Street car park.
It opened in March and since then four more powered scooters have been bought to make a total of 14.
The scheme is said to be very popular with visitors to the island.
Bookings for later in the summer have already been made by people in the UK.
