There is high demand for the Shopmobility scheme

Disabled drivers have not lost any parking spaces in St Helier, according to a Jersey politician.
Senator Philip Ozouf said although eight parking spaces in Sand Street have been removed, other spaces within the car park will be available.
He has denied the spaces have been given to States members.
Shopmobility, the organisation that hires out motorised wheelchairs, had 20 spaces in the car park before the eight were removed.
Edward Trevor from Shopmobility said he had been assured more spaces for disabled drivers would be made available, but that has not yet happened.
The scheme opened in St Helier in March and has proved so popular, additional equipment has been bought to meet the demand for the service.
