People living near a park in Jersey are protesting against plans to build skateboarding area on the land.
St Helier deputy Ben Fox wants land in the south west corner of the park to be used for skateboarding.
But the Friends of People's Park are concerned about the amount of noise that a park will produce and the size of the area it will take up.
The group, which is holding a protest on Sunday, says the area has a problem with drink and drugs abuse.
