Two guilty of Meredith Kercher murder

American student Amanda Knox and her former boyfriend have been found guilty of the murder of Briton Meredith Kercher in the Italian town of Perugia.

The pair were given long prison sentences and ordered to pay Meredith Kercher's family millions of euros in compensation. Amanda Knox's family immediately said they would appeal.
