The mother of a man shot dead in a nightclub has said her family has found it "particularly hard" to come to terms with the violent nature of his death.
Dean Myles, who was 19 and from London, was killed inside at Club UK, in Stokes Croft, Bristol, on 16 September.
Sharon Mussington, 43, said her son's beautiful two-year-old daughter will now grow up without a father.
"Dean was no angel but he did not deserve to die in such a violent way and at such a young age," she said.
Dean Myles was taken to Bristol's Royal Infirmary after the shooting at a reggae night at the club, but died in hospital from a single gunshot wound to the chest.

No mother should have to go through the same pain as me, to be told her son has been shot dead.

Three Bristol men, a 25-year-old arrested on Monday, a 24-year-old arrested on Tuesday and an 18-year-old arrested on Wednesday, have all been bailed by police.
Sharon Mussington said: "No mother should have to go through the same pain as me, to be told her son has been shot dead.
"I have always been strongly against guns and gun crime and that is why the nature of Dean's death is even more upsetting.
"I am here today to appeal to anyone out there who knows anything about this case to please come forward."
A handgun which detectives found on Saturday is being examined by forensic scientists in London.
Supt Arthur Lewis, who is leading the investigation, said they had spoken to a lot of people who were in the club at the time of the incident.
But he said the police "know there are still some people who were there who we have not yet spoken to".
