A major stage of a 9 million transport project for north Warwickshire has been completed with the installation of a road and footbridges.
The links over the Birmingham-Nuneaton railway line are part of the Coleshill Parkway interchange.
The finished product will combine a new rail station with facilities for buses, cars and bicycles along with a park and ride link with the M42.
Coleshill Parkway is on schedule to open in spring 2007.
Destinations served by rail services at the new station include Birmingham, Leicester and Stansted Airport.
Transport connections
The interchange will also improve transport connections with Hams Hall Distribution Park, Birmingham International Airport and the National Exhibition Centre.
The scheme is funded jointly by the Department for Transport, Warwickshire County Council, Laing Rail, and developer contributions secured by North Warwickshire Borough Council.
Martin Heatley, the county council's cabinet member for environmental services, said: "I'm delighted to see this scheme is on schedule."
