A Devon council may press ahead with plans to erect wind turbines on its civic centre despite concerns it could affect radar at a nearby airport.
Exeter City Council hopes to save �500 a year on fuel bills and cut carbon dioxide emissions with six turbines on the roof of its Paris Street premises.
Exeter Airport objected on the grounds that the blades could affect its radar.
Airport managers now want a condition allowing for the turbines to be switched off if the rader is affected.
