About 130 jobs are to go at a Devon factory because the American-owned electronics company is closing the site to move the work to eastern Europe.
Workers at electronics factory AVX in Paignton said they had been told about the closure over the last few days.
Work at the AVX site, which makes specialist parts for mobile phones, is being moved to the Czech Republic.
Staff said they were shocked and devastated at the news that it was to close. The company has yet to comment.
