Main road reopens after repairs
Road closed sign
The road is set to open to traffic following resurfacing work
A stretch of a main route through Dorset, which has been closed all weekend for road repairs, has reopened.

The A31 near Corfe Mullen was shut to traffic from Friday to Sunday evening while flood improvement work was carried out.

The 1.7-mile (2.7km) stretch of road has also been closed to motorists overnight from Mondays to Thursdays for the past four weeks.

Saturday and Sunday's closure was the fourth and last disruption at weekends.

The overnight closures are due to continue.

The stretch of road affected was from the junction of the A350 to the B3074.
